Sworn translation between German and Turkish in Antalya
Turkish documents translated into German for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and German certificates, pension papers and licences into Turkish, by sworn translators in Antalya.
Between Antalya and the German-speaking countries, paperwork travels in both directions. Germans, Austrians and Swiss who have retired or settled here need their certificates, pension notices and licences in Turkish, while Turkish families need their records in German for a visa, studies or a job. German is one of the languages Can Arman, our founder, is sworn for, and our sworn translators cover both directions.
When you need a German translation
- Family reunification in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, where the visa file may need Turkish civil-registry records in German.
- A national visa for studies or work, with school certificates, degrees and references.
- Recognition of a Turkish qualification in a German-speaking country.
- Moving back to Turkey after years in Germany, with a German driving licence to exchange and employment and pension records to present.
- German birth, marriage or divorce documents for a residence permit, a wedding or a notary in Turkey.

Our process for German translations
- Write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail with photos of your papers, and tell us whether a German, Austrian, Swiss or Turkish office will receive them.
- We check what that office expects, including any apostille, and send a written quote.
- Our translator sworn for German translates each document, keeping names, dates and official terms exactly as in the source.
- When notarisation is needed, the translator's signature is certified at Antalya 16. Noterliği, and a translation going to Germany can then be apostilled at the governor's office.
- We send you the translation as a PDF; the originals can be picked up at our office or couriered to you.

Before you order
- German documents get their apostille in Germany. The office depends on the document and the federal state: court and notarial documents usually go to the president of a regional or local court, and administrative documents to a state authority. Austria and Switzerland are Convention parties too, so their documents are apostilled at home as well.
- For a residence permit, add the notary. A German certificate in a residence permit file needs its apostille and a notarised Turkish translation; the migration directorate does not accept a translation without the notary's certification.
- Turkish names in German records. German records may show a Turkish name without ç, ğ, ı or ş, for example Sahin for Şahin. We keep the name as the document shows it and flag any mismatch with your Turkish ID.
- Ask the German-speaking office first. Offices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland set their own rules on translations and apostilles. We prepare exactly what they ask for.
Frequently asked questions
Can I exchange my German driving licence in Antalya?
As of October 2026, Germany is on the official exchange list, so a full German licence is eligible for exchange at a population directorate. The directorate asks for a Turkish translation certified by a notary or a consulate. Lists change, so we check first. Our driving licence exchange page explains the process.
Do German pension documents need to be notarised?
That depends on the Turkish office or bank that receives them. Some may accept a sworn translation, while others ask for notarisation as well. Tell us where the documents are going, and we will confirm the form before you order.
Will a German authority accept a translation made in Turkey?
The German office decides that, so ask it first. We then prepare the set it expects, notarised and apostilled if needed.
I am moving back to Turkey from Germany. What should I have translated?
Start with your German driving licence: the exchange file needs a certified Turkish translation of it, and of your school-leaving certificate if you studied in Germany. For pensions or employment, ask the Turkish office which papers it wants.
Send your documents on WhatsApp or through the request form, mention the country they are for, and we will reply with a quote.
