Residence permit support in Antalya, from checklist to appointment
A checklist for your situation, notarised translations of foreign documents, a check of the complete file and someone at your side at the migration directorate.
Moving to Antalya, or staying longer than your visa allows, usually means applying for a residence permit (ikamet izni). We help you prepare it: a document checklist, translation and notarisation of foreign papers, a check of the whole application, appointment help and accompaniment.
Which residence permit you need
You need a residence permit to stay in Turkey beyond your visa or visa-free period, or beyond 90 days. Turkish law sets out six types, including:
- Short-term permit: up to two years at a time, on grounds such as owning a home that meets the Interior Ministry's conditions.
- Family permit: for the spouse and children of a Turkish citizen or of a foreign resident, for up to three years and never beyond a foreign sponsor's own permit. It gives no right to work.
- Student permit: for people enrolled in education in Turkey.
- Long-term permit: possible after eight years of uninterrupted residence.
Residence permit documents in Antalya
You apply online at e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr, then hand in your documents at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management in Antalya (İl Göç İdaresi Müdürlüğü), which may ask for more. As of October 2026, a short-term application typically needs:
- the application form from e-ikamet and the fee receipts
- a passport copy, with the original shown at the appointment
- two biometric photos taken within the last six months
- health insurance covering the whole period applied for
- proof of sufficient and regular funds
- proof of accommodation: a title deed with a numbering certificate, a notarised copy of a lease showing the landlord's details, or a host's notarised undertaking
- for an extension or transfer, a residence certificate from the e-Devlet portal and a post-office (PTT) document showing your e-notification (UETS) address
A family permit also needs the marriage certificate, a child's birth certificate if the passport does not name the parents, and proof of the sponsor's income. Requirements change, so we check the current list.
How our support works
- Tell us your nationality, family situation and plans, on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
- We send a document checklist for your case and a written quote.
- We check each foreign document for its apostille, then translate it into Turkish and have the translation notarised.
- We prepare the online application with you, help you book the appointment and check the full file against the directorate's list.
- On the day, one of our team accompanies you to the migration directorate.
What our support costs
Preparation and check of a residence permit application starts from ₺15,000, VAT included. If you would like to go through your situation with us first, a support session starts from ₺1,500 per hour, VAT included. Your quote lists every item, including any notarised translations.
The appointment itself is free. Paid separately, to the authorities and providers: permit and card fees, health insurance, notary and apostille fees. We confirm our own deadline in the quote, and urgent preparation is possible on request. See the price list.
Details that matter
- Foreign documents need an apostille and a notarised translation. A certificate issued abroad needs an apostille from the issuing country, or legalisation, plus a notarised Turkish translation. A sworn translation without the notary is not enough.
- Check the address before you sign. As of October 2026, some neighbourhoods may be closed to new residence registrations by foreigners, and the official list changes. Send us the address before you sign a lease or buy, and we will check it.
- Register your address on time. As of October 2026, the address must be registered within 20 working days of the permit's approval. For an extension or transfer, it must already be registered when you apply.
- Order a criminal record early. For a family permit, a sponsor who has not lived in Turkey for the past five years needs one from their home country, ideally requested at least three months before you apply.
Frequently asked questions
Can you promise that my permit will be approved?
No. The decision rests with the migration directorate, which may also ask for more documents. Our part is to check that your file is complete and correctly translated.
Do I have to pay for the appointment?
No. Appointments are free on the official e-ikamet portal, and the migration authority warns against anyone who charges for one. What you pay us is for our own work, never for the appointment.
When should I apply for an extension?
As of October 2026, you can apply from 60 days before your permit expires, and must apply before it does. Starting early leaves time to renew your insurance.
Do you come with me to the migration directorate?
Yes. We go with you to the appointment, help with Turkish where needed and note anything you are asked to add. Once your card arrives, we can also help you exchange your driving licence.
Message us on WhatsApp or use the request form, and we will reply with a checklist and a quote.
