Sworn English–Turkish translation in Antalya

Turkish diplomas, transcripts and records translated into English for use abroad, and British, Irish or American documents into Turkish, by sworn translators in Antalya.

In Antalya, paperwork between English and Turkish runs in both directions. Turkish students, professionals and families need their documents in English for a visa, a university or an employer abroad, while British, Irish and American residents need theirs in Turkish for a notary, a marriage office or the migration directorate. We translate both ways, and Can Arman, our founder, is himself sworn for English.

When you need a sworn English translation

  • A visa application for the UK, Ireland, the US or Canada, or for a Schengen country whose consulate accepts documents in English.
  • A place at a university abroad, which usually means a diploma, a transcript and a diploma supplement in English.
  • A job abroad that asks for a criminal record certificate, employment letters or professional certificates.
  • A residence permit in Turkey, where British, Irish or American certificates must carry an apostille from home and come with a notarised Turkish translation.
  • A property purchase or a company set-up in Antalya, where a power of attorney or company document in English is needed in Turkish.

What to check before you order

  • Ask the destination what it needs. Some offices want a sworn translation only, others want it notarised, and others want an apostille as well. The receiving authority decides, and we prepare the set it asks for.
  • British, Irish and American documents are apostilled at home. In the UK the apostille comes from the FCDO's Legalisation Office, in Ireland from the Department of Foreign Affairs, and in the US usually from the Secretary of State of the issuing state. None can be apostilled in Turkey.
  • Plan time for the Turkish apostille. As of October 2026, a Turkish criminal record certificate can be apostilled online through e-Devlet, while a notarised translation goes to a governor's or district governor's office for its apostille. Coverage changes, so we confirm the route.
  • One spelling of your name. We follow your passport, so the Turkish letters ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş and ü stay as printed there and your name looks the same on every document.

Frequently asked questions

Will UK Visas and Immigration accept your translation?

That depends on the rules for your visa route, which the UK sets and publishes itself. Send us the guidance for your application, and we will prepare the translation to match it.

Can you translate my Turkish diploma for a university abroad?

Yes. We translate diplomas, transcripts and diploma supplements, keeping course names and grades consistent across all of them. If the university also wants an apostille, we arrange it at the governor's office.

Do I need my UK birth certificate apostilled before you translate it?

For a residence permit in Turkey, yes: the certificate needs an apostille from the UK and a notarised Turkish translation. Because the apostille is translated together with the certificate, add it first.

Do you also translate for companies?

Yes. Contracts, articles of association and financial statements are covered by our business translation service. Where a Turkish office or a foreign authority asks for notarisation, we arrange that too.

Send your documents on WhatsApp or through the request form, tell us where they are going, and we will reply with a quote.
